Where Second Chances & Wagging Tails Meet

Our Purpose

Our mobile dog grooming business and handmade product line are staffed and supported by individuals transitioning out of incarceration. We provide job training, mentorship, and space for creative expression — helping people rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.

We believe in the power of second chances.

Where Proceeds Go

Every dollar spent — whether it's on a groom, a handmade dog treat, or a cozy knit sweater — is more than just a transaction. It's an investment in healing, opportunity, and hope.

When you support us, you’re helping to:

  • We provide job opportunities for individuals transitioning out of incarceration — people who are often excluded from traditional employment. Proceeds fund fair wages, training programs, mentorship, and the tools they need to grow professionally and personally.

  • From grooming and customer service to crafting, baking, and business planning — our program offers real-world experience and skill development. The income helps us maintain supplies, certifications, and a safe environment for people to gain confidence and competence in new roles.

  • Running a mobile grooming truck isn’t easy! Funds go toward vehicle maintenance, fuel, grooming tools, equipment upgrades, and everything needed to keep our ambulance on the road — showing up for dogs and people wherever they are.

  • A portion of proceeds supports personal development: financial literacy, goal-setting, entrepreneurship workshops, and more. We’re helping participants not only hold jobs — but dream bigger and build their own.

  • We believe in planting seeds. Some of our participants go on to launch their own businesses — and we support them with startup mentorship, marketing, and promotional space (like visibility on our ambulance wrap and vendor features at events).

  • With your help, we attend public events, speak at schools and prisons, and educate the community about the power of second chances. We’re not just here to provide a service — we’re here to shift narratives and build bridges

Testimonial from a Program Participant:

"When I first got out of prison, I didn’t think anyone would give me a chance. I’d been told for years that I was nothing more than my worst mistake. But this program looked at me like I was a whole person — someone with value, skills, and potential.

At first, I was nervous. I’d never groomed a dog, and I hadn’t made anything with my hands since I was a kid. But they trained me, gave me time, and treated me like a teammate. The first time someone bought a toy I made or tipped me for a grooming, I felt proud — like I was building something real with my own two hands.

This isn’t just a job. It’s a fresh start. It’s people believing in me again — even when I didn’t believe in myself. And now, every time I see a happy dog leave that truck, I feel like I’m doing something good. That matters more than I can explain."
